  • Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling leverages a synergistic combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy to induce controlled dermal injury. This injury triggers the body's natural wound healing response, leading to increased collagen production. The subsequent collagen remodeling results in improved skin texture, reduction in wrinkle depth, and enhanced overall skin firmness. This minimally invasive approach effectively addresses concerns like acne scars and promotes a rejuvenated appearance.

  • After the treatment, patients will typically experience a small degree of redness and swelling lasting 1-3 days post-treatment.

    Less commonly, some patients will experience mild bruising and transient breakouts. 

    You will be able to resume your normal activities immediately post-treatment, however it is advisable to avoid heavy exercise, hot baths or saunas for 2 days following the procedure.

  • Discomfort during RF microneedling is minimal thanks to advanced technology. While a mild warming or tingling sensation may be experienced, our device utilises galvanic current to further minimise any discomfort, ensuring a more tolerable procedure compared to other options on the market.

  • For enhanced results multiple treatments are recommended. A course of 3 treatments at 2 to 4 weekly intervals is suitable for most patients, however this can vary depending on the individual skin condition and recovery rate of each patient.

  • While Lipofirm PRO is a safe and effective treatment for many, it's not suitable for everyone. Here are some contraindications to be aware of:

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Lipofirm PRO is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

    Pacemakers and Metal Implants: If you have a pacemaker or any metal implants in the treatment area, Lipofirm PRO may not be suitable.

    Certain Medical Conditions: Please disclose any pre-existing medical conditions you have during your consultation. Some conditions may require clearance from your doctor before undergoing Lipofirm PRO.
